Judge Maria Granger, Founder of Indiana’s First Veterans Court, was a guest at the State of the Union Address. U.S. Senator Joe Donnelly invited Floyd County Superior Court Judge Maria Granger as his guest to President Obama’s final State of the Union speech. Judge Gregory Horn accepted The Arc of Indiana Community Involvement Award.

The Arc of Indiana honored Judge Gregory Horn, Wayne County Superior Court, with The Arc’s Community Involvement Award at their annual Appreciation Luncheon on December 4, 2015 for his support and dedication to guardianship services for people with disabilities in east central Indiana. A Judges Perspective: Veterans Courts

Judge Maria Granger, has been the Presiding Judge of Floyd Superior Court 3 in New Albany since 2009.

Throughout Indiana, we are expanding access and refining our approach to veterans’ justice statewide. Our goal is to have at least 1 Veterans Court in each of the 26 judicial districts – eliminating all boundaries.
