Henry County Clerk Debra Walker receives the 2016 Outstanding County Clerk Award

The Association of Indiana Counties (AIC) announced that Henry County Clerk Debbie Walker received the 2016 Outstanding County Clerk Award. The award recognized her contributions to county government throughout her years of public service.
Walker began her career working in the Henry County Commissioner’s office before being elected to serve as Henry County Treasurer, where she served two terms. She was then elected Henry County Clerk, where she is now serving her second term. Walker serves as the President of the Indiana County Clerks Association and is active on several committees.
Walker has served on the AIC board and is a member of the State Record Management Committee, and the Indiana Supreme Court Task Force on Remote Access to and Privacy of Electronic Court Records.
