Judge Michael G. Gotsch Sr. honored with ISBA Outstanding Judge Award

St. Joseph Circuit Court Judge Michael G. Gotsch Sr. was selected as the recipient of the Outstanding Judge Award from the Indiana State Bar Association’s (ISBA) Young Lawyers Section. The award was presented at the ISBA’s annual meeting in French Lick.

Judge Gotsch was appointed to the St. Joseph Circuit Court by Gov. Joe Kernan in 2004, and was elected in 2004 and re-elected in 2010. Previously, he served as chief deputy prosecuting attorney and chief of staff in the St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office (2003-04), and counsel for the St. Joseph County Office of Family and Children (2000-02). He also has prior professional experience as corporate counsel for Meridian Title Corporation and executive director for the Child Abuse Services, Investigation & Education Center.
